팀 소개
팔꿈치의 활동범위는 팝업북의 구조를 창작의 씨앗으로 삼습니다.
책 안에 접혀있던 그림이 입체적으로 펼쳐지는 팝업 형식을 시노그래피와 접목하여, 관객이 직접 팝업북을 읽는 공연부터 극장 밖 공간에서 무대나 캐릭터가 튀어나오는 공연까지 다양한 형태의 팝업 씨어터를 만들어 왔습니다. 관객과 퍼포머가 팝업북을 직접 운용함으로써 무대와 공간이 공연의 배경이 되는 것을 넘어서 보다 능동적으로 상호 작용하는 공연을 추구합니다.
나타남과 사라짐이라는 주제를 탐구하고 있습니다. 기억의 되살아남과 소멸, 도시 재개발, 생물의 서식과 멸종 등 우리 주변에서 수없이 펼쳐졌다 접히는 평범하고 작은 것들을 공연으로 기록하고 있습니다.
지구 생태계와 잘 살아가는 연극을 꿈꿉니다.
Pop-up Theatre Ebowroom creates performances inspired by the unfolding structure of pop-up books. By combining pop-up mechanics with scenography, we develop works in which stages, images, and characters emerge and disappear—both inside and beyond conventional theatre spaces.
Audiences and performers actively operate the pop-up structures, transforming space from a passive backdrop into a dynamic, interactive element of the performance.
We explore themes of appearance and disappearance: the return and fading of memory, urban redevelopment, and the habitation and extinction of living beings. Through our work, we record the small, ordinary things that continuously unfold and fold away around us.
We envision theatre that coexists in harmony with the Earth’s ecosystem.
